Installed AV equipment requires regular cleaning and maintenance to keep it in optimum working condition and to reduce the possibility of failure, and therefore potentially prolong the life cycle of the lamp and the equipment. In most cases equipment needs to be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines to keep it in good condition and to ensure warranty conditions are met.
The Service Overview
Maintenance service work involves 2 x pre–planned periodic visits to your premises per annum, arranged at a mutually convenient time, to service the equipment. All work is completed on site, with minimal disruption to the normal use of the equipment. Details of the service items are listed and can be obtained by contacting the office.
Our Service Technicians
Service technicians undergo extensive training from the leading manufacturers, and receive regular periodic training on the latest products. All of our service technicians are SMART factory trained, fully vetted and CRB checked. They are all full time members of staff and as such receive Health & Safety training as well as working at heights and safe use of ladders.
The Equipment
Prior to the commencement of the programme a detailed audit of the equipment is undertaken. This involves testing the full operation of the equipment, noting down any faults, missing items and any visual damage. A record of the manufacturer, its age if known, hours usage, lamp hours and condition are noted as are the model and serial numbers of all the equipment. This is then used as a basis for the maintenance contract.
